Jason Garvey joined NCC in 2020 as Manager, Instructional Design on the credit side. His expertise and responsibilities include:
- Course Design for online, hybrid, and remote learning
- Online Pedagogy and Instructional Equivalencies
- Quality Matters and Online Learning Consortium Rubrics and Implementation
Previous to joining NCC, he was an Instructional Designer in Charlotte for 10 years, at two different higher education institutions. He earned his Master’s in Theology in 2012, and a Graduate Certificate from in Instructional Systems Technology in 2018. Outside of his work he is blessed to be married to his wonderful wife, Abbie. He is an avid Star Trek fan, loves taking hikes, going on road-trips, and reading dead theologians.
