Beth Ritter-Guth

Beth Ritter-Guth has been the Associate Dean of Online Learning & Educational Technology since 2019. She was tenured in English at LCCC before venturing into the world to serve others. In the teaching of literature, she utilizes commercial grade video games and virtual reality.

Her current work features the Internet of Things, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Artificial Intelligence programming in addition to ethical hacking, cyber law, gaming, gamification, drones, voice programming, and the digital humanities.

She’s earned multiple awards for the use of these technologies including the Teacher of the Future award by the National Association of Independent Schools, the Nobel Teacher of Distinction Award, the Campus Leadership Team Award by Campus Technology, the Innovator of the Year by the League of Innovation, and the Leadership & Innovation award from NJEdge.

Her work has been featured in The Chronicle of Higher Education, Campus Technology Magazine, Wired Magazine, USA Today and America Online.

In addition to her work, she is a Disaster Response volunteer for the American Red Cross, a Senior Girl Scout troop leader, avid hiker and long distance Appalachian Trail Backpacker, and a free lance writer for the Times News.

Beth lives in Palmerton with her husband, Dave, and high school seniors, David and Julian.
