This session will discuss basics of Universal Design for Learning, accessibility strategies, and will provide faculty with a demo of the Otter tool and the opportunity to set up and try the tool on their own. We’ll also explore use cases for Otter in the classroom.
Otter.ai is a free tool that allows you to convert live or prerecorded audio to a text transcript. Otter uses voice recognition and machine learning to improve as you use it. The text transcripts in Otter are also easily edited for clarity.
